TFT + Touch Panels

Ocular can provide our advanced touch panel products pre-integrated with TFT displays, cover plates or designed into a full display platform. With our years of expertise in display products, we can assist a customer with selecting a touch panel TFT display solution that is best suited for the customer’s target application. Ocular can source both industrial and consumer grade TFT displays for use in any touch panel integration project and can effectively manage the supply chain to assure product availability and eliminate the need for the customer to deal with multiple suppliers. However, we also have many engagements in which the customer chooses to manage the TFT display supply chain and consigns the material to Ocular for final integration of the touch display sub-assembly. Ocular has experience in both types of business engagements and our flexible business processes allows for either supply chain model to work efficiently and successfully.

Touch Display Platforms

Ocular, a longtime leader in advanced display and touch panel solutions for the embedded computing and communications marketplaces, has two new lines of touch panel platforms featuring Ocular’s advanced display technology utilizing x86 or ARM processors.

Ocular’s Cascade line of touch panel platforms include ARM9 processors while the Denali platforms offer x86 processors. Both product lines can also include Ocular’s Crystal Touch projected capacitive touch panels, a next-generation technology particularly well suited to applications in harsh environments.
