Ocular’s Executive Leadership Team
Joe Fiamingo, President and Chief Executive Officer
Joe Fiamingo serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Ocular. With over 35 years of hands-on operational and management experience, Mr. Fiamingo is a leading manufacturing executive with experience in multiple business sectors. Previously Mr. Fiamingo held the position of President and CEO at Conner Steel Products and International Wire Group. Mr. Fiamingo also served as President and COO of Courtesy Corporation, Executive Vice President of General Cable Corporation, Senior Vice President of J.B. Poindexter and Senior Advisor to Chanin Capital Partners. Mr. Fiamingo has an extensive background working with private equity groups and has led or participated in over 25 strategic acquisitions, integrations, consolidations and sales transactions.
Larry Mozdzyn, Chief Technology Officer
Larry Mozdzyn is one of the original founders and currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer for Ocular. For over 24 years, Larry has assisted in running Ocular, has expanded product offerings and also has been awarded multiple patents. Larry is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and is a member of the Society for Information Display.
Shyamal Parikh, Chief Financial Officer
Shyamal Parikh serves as Ocular’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Parikh brings years of experience in the high-tech industry to the Ocular team. During his career, Mr. Parikh spent over 20 years with Texas Instruments as part of their finance teams. With increasing levels of management responsibility, he gained significant international experience, including being based in the Philippines for 3 years, as Finance Director for Texas Instruments’ semiconductor manufacturing facility. For the past 6 years, Shyamal served as Chief Financial Officer for HomeTeam Services in Dallas.
Mr. Parikh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and an MBA from UCLA.
Paul K. Massey, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales
Paul Massey brings 26 years of global marketing and business development experience in the technology industry to the Ocular team. Prior to joining Ocular, Paul held various senior management positions with Motorola and Emerson Network Power where he launched several successful global businesses serving the telecommunications, enterprise computing and embedded markets, including the development of a custom product business unit and a professional services practice.
David L. Nolte, Senior Vice President of Engineering
David Nolte joined the Ocular team as Senior Vice President of Engineering in 2010. David has over 30 years of experience that includes multiple leadership and executive management roles at Motorola and Emerson Network Power. Leadership positions in engineering, business strategy and advance manufacturing engineering have provided David the knowledge and experience to lead the Ocular engineering team. David also has experience managing multi-million dollar delivery programs and is well versed in finding, training and managing top-quality technical teams. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology and has completed several courses at Motorola University.
Jim Spisak, Senior Vice President of Operations
Jim Spisak has over 25 years experience in the high tech industry, with focus on increasing customer satisfaction. Previously Jim lead the Customer Service and Technical Support team at Honeywell Process Controls, worked in various customer support and aftermarket strategy positions at IBM for 17 years and was also the Director of Global Product Services and Support at Emerson Network Power, Embedded Computing. Jim earned his bachelor’s degree from Yale University and his MBA from the University of Chicago.
Tina Peyton, Director of Human Resources
Tina Peyton joined the Ocular team as the Director of Human Resources in June of 2009. Past professional experiences include a 20 year career at Neiman Marcus in various positions such as Human Resources/Building Manager and Manager/Director for Credit Services. Tina was also the managing principal for Texas Consulting Group, a full service national business and public affairs consulting firm and has held management roles for other political action groups. Tina is a graduate of the University of Texas, has earned her Texas Real Estate license and also obtains a Certificate of Completion in Entrepreneurial Studies from SMU’s Caruth Institute of Entrepreneurial Studies.
