Ocular offers a full line of standard LCD/LCM and interface products and can provide the solution best suited for your display application. Our TN, STN and FSTN products are available in a wide range of alphanumeric and graphic modules.

In addition, based on a customer’s technical requirements, all of these standard modules can also be customized to be cost-effective solutions for a specific application. With Ocular’s Design Center strategically located in Dallas, Texas, Ocular is able to facilitate a collaborative design effort with customers. This enables Ocular’s engineering teams to work closely with customers to design cost-effective solutions that meet or exceed the application’s technical requirements.

Ocular’s Customized & Ruggedized LCD Modules

Ocular offers a full suite of engineering services including electronic design, mechanical design, industrial design, PCB design and firmware development. Ocular’s design team has developed numerous capabilities including anti-reflective glass bonding for TFT displays that are readable in direct sunlight, high brightness LCD backlighting systems, heater-bonded LCD for systems that must operate at extremely low temperatures, shock-mounted LCD and encapsulated LCD for harsh environmental operating applications.

Because of these capabilities Ocular can deliver LCD products with reliability and performance that are truly unmatched in the industry. In fact, Ocular has successfully designed and manufactured LCD display systems for a wide variety of highly challenging applications such as gas pumps, Point of Sale (POS) terminals, outdoor utility meters, high security access controls (for the US Department of Defense), automotive instrumentation clusters, medical devices, sonar fish finders and other applications for vertical markets where display performance and product reliability are mission-critical.
